About Us
Small plants. A greener beginning.
A first plant on your desk. A trailing vine by the window. A succulent on a sunny shelf. At First Root, we believe a little green can make a space feel more like yours.
Our purpose is simple: to help you start a plant collection and enjoy watching it grow, one leaf at a time.
Start small. Grow with care.
We offer indoor saplings, outdoor plants and succulents, alongside seeds, pots and garden essentials. Whether you are bringing home your first plant or adding to a collection you love, there is room for a new green beginning.
Our focus is on saplings: young plants you can settle into your space, care for and grow with. We select, nurture and pack them with attention to their roots, leaves and journey to you.
Plant care, made simpler.
Knowing what your plant needs makes all the difference. Our product pages include care guidance, and our illustrated plant care articles explain potting, soil, watering and light in clear, practical steps.
Every plant is different. We encourage you to choose one that suits your space and follow its individual care instructions. If you need a hand, our team is here to help.
Make room for something living.
You do not need a large garden to begin. A bright corner, a balcony or a small shelf can be the start of something you enjoy caring for.
Your first root is just the beginning.
